2013

Well I've been a bit behind with my blog...so here's a small recap of what we've been up too.

Sterling: he is employed with Dupont Innovalight...a few changes have been made with his job..we are very Thankful that he has a job. He is still the Young Men's President at church...that keeps him busy.

Angie: I'm not doing a whole lot...keeping busy with my calling at church and baking bread..which I am very proud I have mastered that..it only took 27 years! I try to help and serve others when I can.

Chelsea: She spent 4 months student teaching at the Las Vegas High School teaching art...she liked it..even though it was tough at times..but her students liked her. She finished that in December which meant she had completed her four year degree at BYU Idaho...she just received her certificate for her diploma ..she is an Art Education Teacher..she has her credentials in Idaho and she will work on her credentials for Utah. It was a major accomplishment for her to finish her Bachelors Degree...we are very happy and proud of her. Now onto real life...finding a job!

Lyndsey: She is studying psychology...she knows so much and is in her last year at BYU-Idaho...she will graduate in December 2013. She decided to apply for an internship on her off track at school..so she is experiencing the very cold winter weather of snow & ice which she is learning to drive in. She is working two jobs one as a TA and a psychology tutor...and taking a GRE Prep class once a week for 4 hours on Wed. nights...she is a Sunday school teacher and loving life...she wants to go to grad school so she will be in school for awhile longer.

This is the first year we won't have the girls live with us only for holidays...this is very hard on me, but knew this day would come. Being an empty nester isn't all that fun. Hopefully this won't be my last post..I enjoy reading everyone's blogs...My goal is to be better at this...maybe I should stay off of Pintrest:)

Enjoy the rest of February!

Abbott & Costello

Who remembers watching this movie?  One of my favorites...would watch this with my dad, who just loved these two.
